Another holiday, another class party! Our resident kindergartener, Penny, is halfway through junior kindergarten and I am starting to get into the swing of sending a fun treat for her class on party day. I am naturally gravitating towards non-food treats for two reasons, 1) I am an allergy parent and unidentified snacks scare me half to death so I am not sending one in myself and 2) I can make a non-food treat well in advance.
I picked up some supplies from the dollar tree and with my helper, we assembled some cute “Stamped with Love” stamper treats.
24 Valentine’s Day stampers from Dollar Tree (come in packs of 8)
24 Valentine’s Day cellophane bags from Dollar Tree (come in packs of 25)
24 lengths of ribbon. Roll from Walmart
24 “Stamped with Love” cards that I pulled together quickly on my computer.
Putting them together is as easy as popping one stamper into a bag and closing them with the supplied twist ties. Penny signed her name on each card (letter practice!) and we tied the cards on the bags together.
We think they turned out great and I know she will have fun handing these out to her friends. Happy Valentine’s Day!
