Welcome to the Haunted Mansion!
My home is far from being updated and completed based on our personal style but Halloween is one of our favourite times of year to make our otherwise regular home a little creepy and spooky. I shared a list of my favourite Halloween staples you can find at the Dollar Store and today you can see where all those finds end up during the month of October.
Entry
Our entry is teeny tiny and we are still working on ways to maximize space and keep things organized. As this ends up being a dreaded catch all table, I try and keep the decorations minimal because I know this spot gets covered in keys, sippy cups, glasses and the like in less than a day.
Office Area
The office area which was completed last month HERE, got a few rats, a skeleton bird and a small pumpkin. The “Sit for a Spell” printable was made by me and I will share it later this month.
Living Room
The living room is a major work in progress but it still got a Halloween make over with some pumpkins, rats, a couple gold glass skulls and two hologram pictures that I cut down to regular size and put into frames.
Mantle
The fireplace mantle gets some serious Halloween decor with my favourite wreath from Target (last year), 2 light up jack-o-lanters, skulls and bones, another skeleton bird, flickering candles and some spooky hand prints on the mirror.
Kitchen
In the eating area a Mickey trick-or-treat bucket with some faux flowers sits on the table with rat and skull that also take up residence here.
I am waiting to find the perfect sideboard for the space behind the table, under the window. For now we have an old rocker in the corner which has a big witch hat on it.
The kitchen… also a work in progress… has some skull plates on top of the cabinets and a haunted house tea towel. I am really looking to build up some fun Halloween decor for the kitchen!
I hope you enjoyed a little sneak peek into our Halloween home. Happy Halloween!!

So pretty! I love the two hologram pictures in living room. <3
Thank you! We love those too. I love it when they catch someone off guard! haha
