The creepiest month of the year is about to wrap up but not without a fun and frightful night of trick or treating. I hope your ghosts and ghouls have a safe and memorable night as we say goodbye to October.
Before we move on to the Christmas holiday season, I wanted to share the spooky scene out front of our house right now!
The kids and I created a couple tomato cage ghosts along with a tomato cage ghost bride inspired by the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. We also set out some tombstones and a pumpkin wearing a Jason Voorhies mask. The kids thought that it made the un-carved pumpkin look extra scary.
I purchased an LED Lightshow Kaleidoscope in Classic White to make the ghosts look like they are floating and moving in the wind. This light will also look great on snow or snow covered trees this Christmas!
The dripping blood edison lights are from Canadian Tire and light up the front porch with an eerie reddish hue. The Halloween Door Hanger I made this year hangs on the front door.
My mums kicked the can sometime while we were on holidays but I asked the Mr. not to throw them away. If there is a day dead plants look good, Halloween is it! We will say our final goodbyes on November 1.
I hope our Haunted House didn’t scare you too much! If you are interested in seeing the decorations we put up inside, you can ready our Halloween Home Tour post.
