The front reception building has the check in desk as well as a camp store with groceries, firewood, souvenirs and ice and ice cream. There is also a snack bar with the usual fare like hamburgers and fries as well as information on recreation activities for adults and kids throughout the month.
We had a pull through site in the Pebble Beach area along the lake and the site was HUGE. Lots and lots of room for our trailer and truck. There was some very, very large trailers and RV’s there and they all had lots of room and lots os space between neighbours.
There were lots of long and wide stretches of grassy park area for the kids to run around and let out energy which was great for out little ones. The Pebble Beach sites are along a rocky beach so it was important to be with them every moment.
There is also a marina available for campers and seasonal guests which is a newer addition to the park.
The pool areas were fantastic. Our Pebble Beach pool area was brand new with 2 pools. One a smaller kids pool about 2 feet deep at it’s max with splash water buckets. The kids pool was easy for the little ones to get in and out of and super clean.
Next to the kiddie pool was also another snack bar which sells fries and burgers etc., ice cream, camping supplies and a small selection of groceries. We took the kids here to buy a lollipop when they got restless. it was super close and convenient.
The second adult pool ranged from 3 to 9 feet deep and had basketball nets and a giant rock wall! How cool is that!? P and the Mr. climbed up and jumped in while I kept the little guy from trying to go up himself. The pools were open from 10am to 8pm. There are additional swim facilities at the front of the resort which were equally well maintained and impressive.
The resort also had a small arcade, mini golf and games room. There was a small assortment of games which had a lot of out of order signs on them. We did play what we could and had a great time. Kids activities also happen at this location and have a staff member on site. Mini golf was about $10 for 4 of us.
There was also a nice big playground with climbing equipment and swings.
