My head is kind of spinning that Easter is in less than 2 weeks! We just celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and the next day my mind shifted right to Easter baskets and spring decor.
The front foyer is finished!!
Before I show you the finished product, let’s take a trip down memory lane shall we?
Old, ugly, poorly organized and a mess. All kinds of panelling and mismatched wood.
Top O’ the Morning to You!
We are enjoying some St.Patrick’s Day crafts, snacks and decor around the house this month. The month of March is FULL of birthdays on my side of the family. And I mean full as in four in one week. I decided that rather than making some treat or rainbow candy for the occasion we would try something more healthy. Because you better believe I am having cake 4 times in one week this month.
So what is the current state of your dresser? Does it look anything like this? Because this is what my dresser ends up looking like a few times a year. Mangled shirts, piled on one another which leads to one wearing the same thing over and over because it’s on top. Eventually, when I can no longer shut the drawer, I clean it up.
With ambitious home project plans for 2018, we are off to a late start!
Our front entry is anything but inviting and organized. The closet is not original to the house and the dimensions are way off for it to be useful as a proper closet space. It also takes up space in the small 7 x 5 foot foyer and we want to get that space back.
Today is reveal day for the January 2018 $100 Room Challenge!
Unfortunately for some unforeseen circumstances, I was not able to finish my closet space in time. I do plan on getting it all finished and sharing the results, but it will be a couple of weeks late.
I cant believe that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! I also can’t believe it isn’t spring yet and those 2 sentences don’t go together. Last year I shared a Burlap Wreath DIY and as the year as been going on I have been adding seasonal attachments to it. Same wreath, different decorations. In anticipation for Valentine’s Day and springs arrival I am sharing this Felt Flower Valentine Wreath. This can easily be changed into a spring wreath just by changing the colours of the flowers slightly.
Week 3 of the $100 Room Challenge has come and gone and I am happy to report I have half the closet organized! If you are just tuning in you can catch up on Week 1 and Week 2. You can also see my Bedroom Makeover, Girls Room Makeover and Office Space Makeover. All done for $100 Dollars or less! If you are new to the $100 Room Challenge you can read all about it HERE.
